Dot NAME Domain Names

Launched in 2001, the Dot NAME generic top-level extension is the sole TLD supposed to be for personal sites only. These domain names can be personal or fictitious names, nicknames and/or other designations people are famous by. At the beginning, just third-level registrations were permitted, so if you wished to acquire john.doe.name, you were supposed to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration procedures were loosened and 2nd-level registrations were also permitted. Already acquired 3rd-level domain names remained running.

You will have the chance to modify the WHOIS contact info, to park your domain, to create Custom DNS records, etc. You can also transfer an already purchased domain to our company if you obtain its EPP transfer authorization key from the present domain registrar and we will renew it once the transfer has been completed.
